Tammy Rankin-Conover

Dear Robert Sanders Elementary School Community,

I am excited to welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year! We will have a great year– a year of growth, connection, and achievement. I look forward to meeting each of you and working together to continue making Robert Sanders Elementary School a place where high standards are upheld and every student grows academically, socially, and emotionally.

I bring 30 years of experience in TK–12 education, including 25 years as an administrator and 12 as an elementary principal. I hold a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and have spent my career building strong, collaborative relationships in the school community I have served.

As a leader, I believe that student success starts with a strong foundation built on relationships, equity, and high expectations. I am committed to supporting teachers through professional development, collaboration, and resources that help every student thrive. 

My goal at Robert Sanders Elementary School is to create a positive, inclusive environment
where every student feels safe, valued, and challenged to grow. By working with students, staff, families, and community partners, we will provide the support and opportunities needed for each child to succeed. My priorities include fostering academic excellence, promoting social-emotional development, and strengthening relationships to ensure our school remains a place of belonging for all. At Robert Sanders Elementary School, every child deserves the chance to develop a lifelong love of learning.

I look forward to partnering with you to make this a year of meaningful learning, growth, and connection. Together, we will continue to uphold high standards, where all students excel academically, socially, and emotionally.
