Meet the Principal

Dear Robert Sanders Elementary School Community,

I am excited to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year! I am looking forward to another outstanding year filled with growth, connection, and achievement. As we begin my second year at Robert Sanders Elementary School, I look forward to building on the relationships we have established and continuing our work together to ensure that Robert Sanders Elementary School is a place where high expectations are embraced and every student grows academically, socially, and emotionally.

I bring 31 years of experience in TK–12 education, including 26 years as an administrator and 13 years as an elementary school principal. I hold a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and have dedicated my career to building strong, collaborative relationships within the school communities I have served. I am deeply committed to academic excellence and believe that every student can achieve high levels of success when provided with engaging instruction, meaningful support, and opportunities to think critically, solve problems, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

As a leader, I believe that student success begins with a strong foundation built on relationships, equity, and high expectations. I am committed to supporting our teachers through ongoing professional learning, collaboration, and resources that strengthen high-quality instruction and ensure every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

As we begin another year together, I am committed to continuing the work that makes Robert Sanders Elementary School a place where every student thrives. Together with our dedicated staff, families, and community partners, we will continue to strengthen academic achievement, support students' social-emotional well-being, and foster a culture of belonging, respect, and high expectations. By maintaining a focus on excellence in teaching and learning while nurturing the whole child, we will ensure that every student is challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential and develop a lifelong passion for learning.
